What are “booking vouchers”?

Booking vouchers are the confirmation documents generated by ITILITE for a trip booking (for example: airline ticket, hotel confirmation, etc.). They typically include key details like booking reference/PNR, dates, times, and property/flight information.

Where can I find the “Sharing booking vouchers” setting?

You can find it in your travel/admin settings.

Steps to reach it:

  1. Go to Admin Settings
  2. Open Account Configuration.
  3. Navigate to Settings > Booking Permissions > Book for others
  4. Find Sharing booking vouchers
  5. Choose one of the options

What does “Share booking vouchers with all travelers” mean?

If this is enabled, all travelers on the trip, as well as the user who booked the trip, will receive an email with the booking vouchers/confirmations.

This is useful when:

  • Multiple employees are traveling together and everyone needs the itinerary.
  • Travelers need confirmations directly for check-in, hotel reception, etc.

What does “Share booking vouchers with trip creator only” mean?

If this is enabled, only the person who booked the trip will receive access to the booking vouchers.
This is useful when:

  • A coordinator/admin books travel for others.
  • Your company prefers controlling voucher distribution.

Which option should my company choose?

  • Choose All travelers if you want travelers to directly receive confirmations and reduce follow-ups.
  • Choose Trip creator only if you want centralized control (e.g., travel desk model) or tighter privacy.

If I change this setting, does it apply to existing bookings?

This setting applies to future bookings after the change.
