What happens if there is no configured rate for a destination?

If there is no configured rate for a particular destination, the system will pick up the default rate to calculate the per diem reimbursement amount. The “**Default Rate**” is applicable to all employees and departments. It has no particular effective duration. Hence, it is applicable indefinitely.

In order to set up the Default Rate, you need to activate and configure it.
