Boots in the bag and a Sunday flight booked? Then you're nearly set for Trimble Dimensions 2026. ITILITE will be on the Expo floor too, and as one of your fellow attendees, the team has laid out the week for you: what's on, what it costs, how the Offsite Expo buses work, and where to eat once sessions wrap.

If you're the controller or finance lead signing off on someone else's trip, the budget section is written for you.

What to Expect at Trimble Dimensions 2026

Trimble Dimensions 2026 is Trimble's annual user conference, running November 9 to 11, 2026 at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas, with more than 8,000 professionals expected. It mixes 700+ sessions, workshops and certified training courses with an outdoor demo site, a developer track and two startup competitions.

This year's thread is AI and connected data. Trimble's pitch is that teams should stop tuning individual tasks and start looking at how data, people and equipment work as one system, from the field to the office.

CEO Rob Painter frames it as "turning disconnected data, people and assets into an AI-forward connected ecosystem" ‍

Who Goes to the Dimensions User Conference

Dimensions draws mainly construction, engineering and geospatial professionals: contractors, surveyors, engineers, owners, and the Trimble customers, partners and dealers who work alongside them. Trimble's own trip toolkit lists the tracks people come for, from building and civil construction to MEP, structural detailing, geospatial surveying and Viewpoint ERP. Agriculture and transportation are not part of this event.

PwC is the Diamond sponsor this year, and Esri and John Deere are the Platinum sponsors.

For travel and finance teams, the detail that matters is how field-heavy this crowd is. Superintendents, project managers and survey crews spend most of the year on the road, so a week in Las Vegas is routine for them, but it still has to fit inside a travel policy. The construction travel management guide covers why crew travel behaves so differently from head-office travel.

Key Sessions and Experiences at Trimble Dimensions 2026

Beyond the breakout rooms, Dimensions runs a handful of named programs, each with its own crowd and time slot. Here are the ones worth planning around, in the order they show up on the schedule.

Opening Keynote With Rob Painter (Monday, 9:00 AM)

Trimble CEO Rob Painter opens the conference with emcee Tripp Crosby, and Trimble promises live demos, an active job site on stage, a run of AI announcements and real customer results. Expect the week's product news to land here first.

Breakouts, Labs and Credits (Monday to Wednesday)

The bulk of the week is breakout sessions, hands-on computer labs and certified training. Registered attendees enroll through the session catalog as space allows, so popular labs fill early. Many sessions qualify for Professional Development Hours and NASBA-sponsored CPE credits, which is worth knowing if your accountants or controllers are coming

The Developer Summit (New This Year)

The first Developer Summit is a technical track for software engineers, systems architects and technical decision-makers who build on Trimble's APIs and SDKs. Sessions cover Trimble Connect workflows, hardware and field data, Trimble Agent Studio, and product APIs for SketchUp, Tekla, Vista, Spectrum and ProjectSight

3D Basecamp Summit (Keynote Tuesday, 8:30 AM)

SketchUp's user summit runs inside Dimensions, with sessions on scan-to-BIM, interoperability and AI inside SketchUp. Speakers include Jason Li of M Moser, urban planner Devin Lavigne of Houseal Lavigne and designer Tola Ojuolape

The Startup Stage (Tuesday)

Tuesday is startup day. The 0-60 Challenge runs from 10:00 AM to noon with 15 early-stage finalists, and the CEMEX Construction Startup Competition follows from 2:30 to 4:30 PM. That competition is in its 10th edition, with eight finalists picked from 700+ applicants. Winners of Trimble's Construction Innovation Awards are also announced during the event.

Expo Nights and the Customer Appreciation Party

The Expo hall hosts a networking reception on Monday from 4:30 to 6:30 PM, and yes, there's a dog park on the Expo floor. Wednesday ends with the Customer Appreciation Party from 6:00 to 10:00 PM at OMNIA at Caesars Palace. A $300 guest pass covers the party only.

Budgeting a Trip to Trimble Dimensions 2026

Plan on about $3,170 per person before airfare, based on the pass plus four hotel nights and meals at the federal per diem for Las Vegas. The sample below is for one traveler who flies in Sunday, November 8 and home Thursday, November 12, using GSA's FY2027 rates of $147 a night for lodging in November and $86 a day for meals and incidentals.

Line item Basis Amount
Full conference pass Last chance rate $2,195
Hotel, 4 nights GSA lodging rate of $147 a night, before tax $588
Meals and incidentals $86 a day, $64.50 on the first and last day $387
Subtotal before airfare and ground transport Pass, hotel and meals $3,170
Airfare and ground transport Depends on origin and booking date Varies

Two things move that number, in opposite directions. Trimble covers most meals Monday to Wednesday, including breakfast and lunch each dayIf your policy deducts provided meals at . GSA's breakdown of $22 for breakfast and $23 for lunch, the meals line drops to $252 and the subtotal to about $3,035. The per diem guide explains how those deductions work.

The hotel line moves the other way. Even the conference group rate at The Venetian was $280 a night plus a $35 resort fee before tax, more than double the GSA lodging rate, and that block closed on October 9. Expect open-market rates during conference week to sit well above the federal number, so check the real rate before you set a cap. For a wider view of how finance teams plan this spend, the construction CFO's blueprint for travel expense management is a good companion read.

Your Trimble Dimensions Pre-Trip Checklist

Most of this takes ten minutes, and each item saves you a scramble on the Strip. Run through it before you leave for the airport.

  • Carry ID that shows you're 21: Every Dimensions event, including the Expo hall and both evening events, is 21 and over, and so is hotel check-in at The Venetian
  • Grab your badge on Sunday: Badges print at onsite registration, which opens Sunday from noon to 8:00 PM, so you can skip the Monday rush.
  • Pack for dirt and cool nights: Closed-toe shoes are mandatory at the Offsite Expo, and November in Las Vegas averages a high of 66°F and a low of 46°F, so bring a layer for the evenings. Dress code is "business comfortable."
  • Build your agenda before you land: Enroll in sessions through the catalog, and leave a four-to-five-hour gap for the Offsite Expo.
  • Fly home Thursday if you want the party: The Customer Appreciation Party runs until 10:00 PM Wednesday, so a Wednesday-night flight means skipping it.
  • Settle the cost code and cap with finance: Agree whether the trip is training, customer relationship or vendor evaluation, and what the hotel cap is, before anything gets booked.
  • Decide how receipts get captured: Pick who approves the expense report and how hotel folios and meal receipts reach finance. The crew and foreman expense guide covers the field side of this.

Meet ITILITE at Trimble Dimensions 2026

ITILITE is attending Trimble Dimensions 2026 and you'll find the team at booth 735 in the Expo hall from November 9 to 11. If crew travel, per diem or card controls are on your mind this year, stop by and compare notes with people who deal with them every day.

The travel and expense cards for construction companies page shows how it works on a jobsite, and the ITILITE integrations list has the full set of ERP connections. If a traveler is stuck at Harry Reid at 11 PM with a cancelled flight, a real person picks up in under 30 seconds.

Drop by booth 735 for a quick chat, or book a 30-minute walkthrough ahead of time if you'd rather have a fixed slot.
