To bolster the safety and security of card transactions, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) mandated new auto-debit rules kick in from October 1, 2021. RBI\u2019s directive states that there will be no automatic recurring payment for various services as the additional factor of authentication (AFA) will become mandatory from today. RBI\u2019s new rules on auto-debit transactions prevent merchants from automatically charging customers\u2019 credit and debit cards for their services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Due to these restrictions in place, ITILITE<\/a> would not be able to process auto-debit transactions for Indian clients of our Expense product. Clients can still make payments on the platform by navigating to the \u2018Billing & Subscription\u2019 tab and clicking on \u2018Pay Due Amount\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
